Current Issues
The CVMA is involved in research and advocacy on behalf of the Canadian automotive industry in a number of public policy issues and fields of expertise.
The CVMA focuses on a range of areas including manufacturing, technology, border issues including customs and logistics, environmental design, vehicle safety, consumer affairs, taxation, and human resources management.
The CVMA member companies are national firms that conduct business in a global marketplace, our work impacts on significant national issues such as Canada-US relations, investment, innovation, trade, the environment, economic growth and jobs.
